At first you stop being greedy.

Then selfishness goes away.

Following which empathy comes in and sets the stage for love.

And then you give like it never belonged to you.

Finally, you receive.

You know this poem kind of reminds me of how the Holy spirit transforms a person, from within going outwards until he or she is a new person, full of love.

Lori, you are right. True transformation is always inside out. Beauty, certainly, is not skin deep.
